About a few days before the news of her demise, her colleague and another of British television star, Bruce Montague had passed away and news surfaced all over the media platforms. Coming back to Josephine’s career as an actress, she had played many roles and won many awards but her role as Elizabeth in the show called, “Keeping Up Appearances”, would always be remembered by everyone. She left this world and her loved ones behind yesterday at the age of 91 years. She had also been part of comedy-based documentary movies, which were more on her work during the shows she had been part in and her working schedule with her private life management during the show, The Two Ronnies.

She was strong in feelings as her husband’s death did cause her much pain but after a proper break, she came back stronger and worked more than enough to help charity foundations. We pray for peace in her soul. Her demise was officially confirmed and announced by her manager, stating that the comedian, actress and great human being is no more with us. She took her last breaths at Denville Hall.

After the fame of the show, she was given with the nickname Elizabeth and was called with same in many comedy shows while being called upon onto the stage.
