Former Celtic player and coach, Frank Connor has passed away at the age of 86. The news was confirmed on January 20th by the church that he went to every Sunday. Tommy Docherty, one of the coaches Connor had at Celtic said: “I just think he was a lovely man. He came from Co Meath and he used to have an accent and I just loved listening to his tongue twister answers. They were great fun. He was one of the greatest players ever to play for the Celtic Football Club and a respected football coach who is widely remembered by people who knew him. His death has saddened many people.
