Southern California Fire
The area was the most affluent neighborhood in California. The fire grew and covered almost 200 acres after a small ignition happened in the afternoon of Wednesday. The fire was on until the evening and burned 20 houses. A small bush fire was eventually spread and as the locality was dry, and no resource to put it out, it grew larger than expected. When the firefighters came by they out urged to put out the flames but the flames were strong enough and fumed many houses. A resident named Jennifer said that she saw the smoke coming around 4 pm, from the Laguna Hills, and within two hours the whole area was covered in smoke clouds, as the fire lit the whole locality. According to a firefighter, Brian Fennessy, no civilian or firefighter got injured, during an interview. Firefighters were even splashing water from the ponds to put out the water. But certainly, as the dark black fumes indicate the fire was uncontrollable. Fennessy also said that the firefighters will lead an examination of where the fire hotspot is and will make sure to eradicate the sources from the locality. A resident of the Laguna Hills, Allan Aguilera said, when I and my family saw the fumes moving closer, we decided to evacuate the house asap. As we saw from the top, others were doing the same thing. We gathered our valuables and essentials and ran out without wasting any time to avoid bottling up with any incident. Soon pictures were spread on the internet and people came to know about the calamity. Many shared it on Twitter and other social media as well. Fennessy also said that he hasn’t witnessed a fire like so in years. He said that he saw a fire five years ago, but it covered an acre. This was huge bundling up acres, he said. The fire lit was over 200 acres. Drought and water shortage are being witnessed in California and it might be the cause of the dry area catching up the fire.
