Her delivery date was 7th December 2022 but she had delivery pain earlier. She was very nervous before going to the maternity ward and operation theatre. Her family members have asked doctors to allow them with her but they weren’t permitted as it was against the rules. She was operated on successfully and delivered a child and then also shifted to normal wards as per the authority. She then started feeling abdominal pain and then was given some painkillers. And later she died as her vital organs stopped working. She died on Monday 28th November 2022 due to the stoppage of her vital organs. Her blood pressure was also low and doctors couldn’t control that. Her cervix dilation was 2 cm instead of the 10 cm required for normal delivery. The doctors have said That her vital organs were not mature for the delivery and that’s why they stopped functioning. But the relatives have claimed that the doctors and hospitals are responsible for the death of Velma as they were careless towards her. They haven’t provided her the special care and attention she needed nor allowed them to go with her whole operation as she was very nervous before delivery. The hospital authorities have clearly denied the allegations and claimed that she was not ready for delivery they completed the operation successfully and the child was delivered successfully. The decision will be made after the postmortem report will come till then there is a war open among the authority and relatives.
