Memphis Mass Shooting Incident
The police of Memphis 1st warned the public to make a distance or it’s better to stay away from him whom they stated was “dangerous and armed” in a -7:00 PM post on social media. The police department receives the report of 2 shootings within a few minutes of one another at 04:35 PM though as of now we can’t make any comment that in both the cases Kelly was the suspect. Both the cases are under probe and police are looking for more evidence. As reported by the police, a man was shot to his death and this incident happened at a gas station on East Parkway at around 04:35 PM after 1 minute, a lady was injured after a person shot her and makers her critically wounded and this incident has happened on Norris Road which close to 1-240.

After the shooting incident has been reported the police ordered the local residents and people to be inside their houses as much as possible not only this but public bus service was also suspended and 2 educational institutions were put on high alert as the suspect continued his attack and violent binge. As per the reports, the University of Memphis sent a text to all their pupils informing them that a shooting incident had been observed close to the campus and near Rhodes College around four miles away and it is advisable for pupils who were on and off campus to take a safe shelter and remains there until the cops detained the suspect.
Memphis Mass Shooting Suspect Ezekiel Kelly Detained Or Not?
After a lot of struggle, the suspect was finally detained in the Whitehaven neighbourhood of the place where the incident has happened, hardly 11 miles away from the University of Memphis and around 12 miles away from the College named Rhodes. At the time of the night of Wednesday, 7th September 2022 cops pursuit, the suspect changed the automobile from a blue Infiniti sedan and switch it with a grey colour Toyota SUV. Kelly reportedly stole the car and shot the lady driver of the car. There are not many details disclosed related to the suspect as police are currently investigating the matter.
