As per the reports, the sports officer of Saharanpur named Animesh Saxena though rejected those allegations and even called them “baseless”. He asserted that the food served in the stadium is really made of premium quality. However, there is a problem with space in the stadium and due to that, the cook used to cook the food close to the stadium pool. All the allegations are wrong and the food was kept there because it was raining outside and due to that we made the food arrangement near the swimming pool area. The prepared food was kept in the dressing room which is placed to next the pool. We kept the food there because some construction was going on and due to that we don’t get any other place to keep it due to the rain. The government of Uttar Pradesh after watching the chaos and protest suspended Saxena. A letter was released by the Sports Directorate after watching the controversy, the suspension was declared and it was told that the decision was taken after the Sports Officer of Saharanpur failed to appear an explanation for the whole incident.
